Reference :- This election campaign has been torturing us for about one million years .

Reference :-  And there are still a million years to go . 

Everybody is becoming exhausted by the dreary election campaign . We thought it was time for a poem ... to lighten things up . 

                                                         The Election Campaign . 

                                 

                                             As the grim day of voting nears , 

                                             With the nation deep in arrears , 

                                             The tortured news watcher, 

                                             Gets fed  moments " gotcha " , 

                                             And cut ins by young David Speers .
