Reference :- Peta Credlin informs us that 10,000 scientist's signatures on a petition calling for action on climate change do not a scientific consensus make . That is undoubtedly correct . She then spoon feeds us a generous helping of reheated opinion , which sounds very akin to telling us what she thinks . Tut tut !
Indeed yes Peta , 10,000 signatures in a hastily whipped up petition doesn't impress me either . But I would point out that wasting your time "going on" about it looks petty . What you need to do is go straight for this issue's throbbing jugular , and address the fact that 97 to 99 percent of actual genuine climate scientists with peer reviewed articles believe in climate change . And here's a tip. When you discredit them all , be sure to address the fact that it's 97 percent for the scientists with the least experience in their chosen field , and 99 to 100 percent for those with multiple degrees and multiple peer reviewed publications . That's the monster you have to grapple with , and I am sure you are up to the challenge . I would stick with your catchy motto " what I know , not what I think "too , if I was you.
By sticking with only what you know, there will be a lot less material to sort through each time you prepare a show . If you need any help proving that almost all the world's climate scientists are fibbing for the money , and the fossil fuel CEOs are motivated by altruism , my son , Ken junior can help you out . His mate works in Monaco , servicing the water closets on super yachts , and reckons that almost all of them are owned by climate scientists . You never hear about that on the taxpayer funded ABC , do you ? Feel free to phone the lad anytime .
Your comrade , Ken
