Reference :- Senator Pauline Hanson , for some reason , wore a Burqa to Parliament .

Reference:- The Australian Parliament's guidebook for acceptable behaviour  advises that props may be tolerated at times , but are not encouraged .

Dear Pauline  ,

What was all the fuss about ? The rules state that props may be tolerated in Parliament , but not encouraged . It is grossly intolerant to chuck you out of the room because you happened to wear a Burqa on that occasion .  Besides , who gets to decide what constitutes a prop ?  Freedom to embrace a particular sartorial style is surely a fundamental right in a free market ... I mean democratic society .  Remember when  Scotty from marketing , then known as  Prime Minister Scott Morrison , waved a lump of coal about like Darius Jedburgh clasping a fistful of plutonium in " The Edge of Darkness ?  ( If you have never heard of Darius Jedburgh , I recommend googling him ) .  If Scotty could get away with that , surely you can front up in a Burqa .

Anyway , wearing a Burqa is sure to endear you to the million or so Muslims in the country . Your gesture will go a long way towards calling out racism and healing division within our communities .   And I reckon you have opened the door for other displays of religious tolerance .  Perhaps we may see one of our Muslim Parliamentarians show up clad in Christian attire , the Papal Mitre perhaps , or that charming little cap , the Zucchetto ?    It's about time our Parliamentarians clobbered themselves up in classier threads and introduced some colour to their proceedings .

I do like the look of that conservative think tanker chap , Jordan Peterson . He dresses as colourfully as a clown , and his costumes do pleasantly distract from the content of his arguments when he occasionally flounders on the rocky shores of incomprehensible verbosity .

Good luck with it all Pauline . You are truly a trendsetter .

Your comrade

Ken

PS.  I didn't mention Judaism . It is a sensitive topic at present , best avoided ,what with the genocide and all .   But let me be clear , I am not antisemitic .  Admittedly the definition of antisemite has changed over the years . Once upon a time they labelled you an antisemite if you harboured an irrational prejudice against Jewish folk .  Now you are labelled an antisemite if Zionists don't like the cut of your jib  .  But rest assured , I belong to neither category .
